My painting tends towards the post-impressionism style. Perhaps it is due to the fact that I mainly paint inside my workshop the themes that have seduced me and that I have photographed… With time and experience, I try tirelessly to go to the essentials by simplifying the subjects. Giving the impression of detail without falling into detail, suggesting rather than affirming: it is a way to make room for the imagination.

My sources of inspiration are diverse and varied: photographic notes, paintings in the workshop and on the motif. The other canvases come from my imagination, which allows me to have a style that I want is spontaneous and suggestive.

The techniques I use are, among others, acrylic, oil, pastel with a preference for acrylic that dries quickly and allows me to work with small more or less thick touches, superimposed, thus suggesting an atmosphere, a climate, a light,… This is how I try to restore on the canvas the emotions felt on the pattern, in the workshop or through the courses I animate.

For some time, I have been creating digital compositions which is a modern process that I consider complementary to more academic interpretation techniques.
